Disney Cruise Line has announced a delay for its newest ship, Disney Adventure. Originally set to begin cruises on December 15, 2025, its maiden voyage has been postponed to March 10, 2026.

Guests who booked cruises on the Disney Adventure between December and early 2026 have been notified via email. Disney cited “unexpected delays in the shipbuilding process” as the reason for the postponement. All payments for the cancelled voyages will be automatically refunded.

In addition to the refund, guests affected by the delay are being offered a 50% discount toward a future voyage.
The Disney Adventure was first announced in November 2022. It will be the first Disney Cruise Line ship to sail from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre, and will operate mostly 3- to 4-night cruises around Southeast Asia.
